A special celebration for our Year 12 students

15.10.26

With Valedictory just around the corner, yesterday was an opportunity to celebrate our Year 12 students and the people who have supported them throughout their time at Christ Church Grammar School.

Archbishop’s Day brought Year 12 mothers and significant females together for a special chapel service and Eucharist, conducted by the Archbishop of Perth, Kay Goldsworthy AO. The service celebrated the special bond between our students and the women who have played an important role in their lives. Photos from the morning will be shared with Year 12 mothers soon.

Later in the day, our 31 Lifers gathered in Sandover Dining Hall for the annual Lifers Lunch. A Lifer is a student who begins their education at Christ Church in Pre-Primary and completes all 13 years, graduating in Year 12. This year’s group is the largest cohort of Lifers in the School’s history.

From the classroom and sporting field to music, drama, tours, camps and outdoor education, these young men have been part of many aspects of school life. The lunch provided an opportunity to share memories and celebrate the friendships formed over the years.

Next week, we look forward to celebrating all our Year 12 students at Valedictory as they prepare for life beyond Christ Church.
