Unlocking Student Potential

Motivating boys to achieve their best is a strategic imperative for Christ Church, a school which over the past 15 years has consistently ranked as the best boys’ school for academic results in Western Australia. The outstanding results achieved by our boys are the result of a combination of factors, including expert teaching, a strong pedagogical approach, and a supportive, inspiring learning environment.

The Christ Church Pedagogy

The Christ Church Pedagogy is a learning framework that underpins our approach to educating boys. This unique framework was developed from extensive research into boys’ motivation and how they learn, and it is the basis upon which we design learning experiences for our boys within each phase of learning from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

Reporting in Real Time

Real-time reporting provides parents with instant updates on their son’s academic progress, attendance, and behaviour, allowing our parents to become active partners in their son’s education. This continuous communication replaces delayed, periodic reports, which leads to better performance by students and a stronger home-school connection. Real time feedback is a significant part of the School’s pedagogy or art and science of teaching, which guides our approach to learning. Christ Church regards parents as a crucial part of the educational journey.

Outstanding Teachers

Our school takes pride in employing exceptional teachers who are experts in their respective fields. Each educator brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to their teaching. By embracing our school’s innovative pedagogy, they inspire boys to excel and consistently achieve outstanding results across all areas of learning.

Competitions

At Christ Church, we encourage our boys to take part in internal and external competitions as a healthy and inspiring way to help them achieve their best. Through competition, boys become more inquisitive, learn to research independently, and develop the ability to work effectively with others. Our experience shows that boys often strive to go beyond what is required, preparing them for success in a wide range of future situations.

ATAR

2025 was another year of exceptional achievement at Christ Church Grammar School. Our students’ results reflect the dedication of our hardworking students, extraordinary teachers and supportive parents.

The 2025 cohort performed with exceptional distinction, achieving a median ATAR of 92.1.

The top ATAR is 99.95 – the highest possible ATAR in the State. Congratulations to Aidan Lim on this outstanding accomplishment.

Consistently ranked among the top ten schools in Western Australia, Christ Church is recognised by the SCSA as the highest-ranking boys’ school in the State. These results highlight our commitment to academic excellence and our passion for helping every student reach their potential.
