Alan Jones has over 30 years’ experience as an educator and has worked in a number of high-profile schools around Australia.

Commencing in 2016, Alan works to keep the School at the forefront of educational thinking, creativity, innovation and contemporary practices. Alan is deeply passionate about the health and wellbeing of young people, ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

He has led the design and implementation of Christ Church Grammar School’s extraordinary On Queenslea Drive program, Aquatic Precinct and Preparatory School. He has strengthened partnerships with girls’ schools so that students develop a higher level of social and emotional intelligence, and respect for gender differences.

Through his visionary approach, the School has also seen the development of St John’s Wood Playing fields phase 1, and the securing of land for St John’s Wood playing fields phase 2.

Under his leadership, the School continues to lead the way in educational thinking, embracing innovative approaches and forward-looking strategies that prepare students for the challenges of a world shaped by continuous progress.
