Year 6 production: Students take the spotlight

05.03.26

The Year 6 production of Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits was a highlight of Term 3, with students delivering three lively and engaging performances that blended comedy, music, and theatrical storytelling.

For many, it was their first time performing in a production, making the occasion all the more special. From the first rehearsals to opening night, the Year 6 students dedicated themselves to bringing this vibrant, Arabian-inspired production to life.

The annual Year 6 production highlights the School’s commitment to Drama as a key element of a well-rounded education. Enriched by our on-campus partnership with the Midnite Youth Theatre Company, the co-curricular activity allows students to build confidence, express creativity, and work together in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Looking ahead, Christ Church is proud to announce PERFORM, the future cultural heart of the School. This state-of-the-art venue will further strengthen our commitment to the performing arts, as well as to health and wellbeing, 21st-century skills, and the Centre for Ethics. Construction will begin early next year, and we look forward to seeing students thrive in this exciting new facility.
