Applications for the DJ Prosser Scholarship for entry into Year 7, 2026 have now closed

David Junior John Leo Prosser, known as “DJ”, died peacefully in April 2020 at age 21 years at his home, surrounded and supported by his Christ Church Grammar School peers and close family. DJ Prosser had DIPG grade 4, incurable cancer immobilising all functions except the brain, which dies last.

David Prosser senior is an old boy (1966), and the DJ Prosser Scholarship is for boys to acquire the values and skills for a successful start in life, which Christ Church powerfully nurtures.

The Scholarship is to assist families who are experiencing financial difficulty. For example, families who are dealing with an illness, financial stress, bankruptcy, or whose financial circumstances prevent them from sending their son to Christ Church.

The Scholarship is an opportunity to gain a well-rounded education, life skills and forge life-long friendships.

The Scholarship:

  • covers 100% of tuition fees through the Christ Church Grammar School Old Boys’ Association Scholarship Trust, from Year 7 to Year 12
  • is awarded to an Australian citizen or permanent resident entering Year 7 who does not currently attend Christ Church Grammar School or another PSA school
  • is subject to annual review
  • is tenable for the duration of the boy’s education at Christ Church.
